Angel and Series A Startup Development
Startup company successfully iterates through two rounds of capital infusions.
Situation
The founding team (which included FreelanceCTO) designed and built the initial prototypes. To scale company, two rounds of investment were required to target a large-scale consumer audience.
Findings
Only half of the product had been built. Significant development effort needed to go into supporting 5 partner and 8 marketplace integrations with large providers. Proprietary algorithms and data analytics needed further refinement and operational support. Data transformation and translation tools were necessary to maintain data integrity and enable third-party integrations
Action
FreelanceCTO led a team of over 10 engineers, developers, product managers, project managers, information architects, designers, copyeditors, and administrative staff.
Result
The company successfully raised all necessary capital and is still in operation today with no additional resource infusions.
